Rhonda's Headshot

Rhonda Rose is not your average acting coach. With over fifteen years of experience on the stage and a decade in film, she brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her students, but it's her academic background that distinguishes her within her field. With a deep understanding of psychology and anthropology, Rhonda approaches the craft of acting from a unique perspective. She knows that creating a strong character requires not just technical skill but also a deep understanding of human behavior and motivation.

What truly sets her apart is her passion for creating a safe and positive learning environment. She believes that as actors, we need to be able to take risks and explore our vulnerabilities in order to create truly memorable performances. Rhonda's students know that they can trust her to provide a "safe space to be unsafe," where they can learn and grow without fear of judgment.

With Rhonda's guidance, even the most inexperienced actors can develop the confidence to embrace the very things that they may see as weaknesses and turn them into strengths, creating complex and nuanced characters that audiences will never forget.

Get Started With Ghost Light Studios

Our Origin Story

I started Ghost Light during the pandemic when everything was shut down and no one was performing or studying. There was a void in the community and we were all missing it and each other. I began by running 4 six week workshops on character study over zoom, hosting monthly readings of scripts and screenplays, also over Zoom, and hosting a monologue and scene competition called Ghost Christmas Lights. I called my studio Ghost Light because it was the one light that stayed on for us while the world was shut down.
